One Good Act Non-Discrimination & Anti-Harassment Policy
I. Purpose
One Good Act (OGA) is committed to maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and equitable environment for all individuals associated with the organization.
This policy affirms OGA’s commitment to non-discrimination, equal opportunity, and freedom from harassment in all programs, activities, and operations.

III. Equal Opportunity
OGA provides equal opportunity in all organizational activities and decisions and seeks to foster an environment that reflects dignity, fairness, and respect.
Decisions related to hiring, contracting, scholarships, and program participation are based on qualifications, merit, and mission alignment.

IV. Anti-Harassment
OGA prohibits harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:

Verbal, physical, or visual conduct that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment

Sexual harassment or unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature

Derogatory comments, slurs, or inappropriate behavior
Harassment will not be tolerated in any organizational context.
V. Reporting & Resolution
Individuals who experience or witness discrimination or harassment are encouraged to report concerns promptly.
Reports may be made in accordance with OGA’s Whistleblower Policy, including reporting to:

The Executive Director, or
-
The Board Chair if the concern involves leadership
All reports will be taken seriously and addressed promptly and confidentially to the extent possible.
VI. Protection Against Retaliation
OGA strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination or harassment in good faith or participates in an investigation.
Retaliation is a violation of this policy and may result in disciplinary action.
VII. Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in corrective action, up to and including removal from position, termination of service, or other appropriate measures.
VIII. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to ensure compliance with applicable laws and best practices.
IX. Board Approval
This policy was reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors of One Good Act on February 7th, 2026.
